The Dialectic Journal

This was a logo design for a friend's new club on campus. Originally known as the Dialectic Journal, it eventually became just The Dialectic:Controversial Discussions. Basically this club raises high schoolers awareness of current events and issues that are happening in the world today. It facilitates a place for intelligent discussions to take place with intelligent individuals.

The original brainstorm for this came from the club's firsts cover photo on Facebook. It was basically a clipart of a skull, a book, and a light bulb. I decided to try out a brain and a skull as the graphic elements. This is my first brainstorm.

We ended up here, but then my friend decided to simplify the name. below is the official logo and the poster which he used for club rush.
